I am a marine biology student in Florida hoping to specialize in shark studies. I love photographing nature, both on land and in the sea. I am also teaching myself how to draw and one day I might actually put something up. I am also an intense reptile lover with a truly impressive zoo back home (miss them here at college).
I love what I do and I hope to share that with others.

It has been a very long time since I have been active here. A lot has happened in my life, both good and bad. All things considered my life is on the upswing for now. At the moment I am finishing up my thesis for my M.S. in Marine Biology. I just returned from my second expedition volunteering with the Shedd Aquarium's Iguana Research Group. Most of my photos still need to be processed and corrected as DA doesn't like me uploading RAW files. I will be adding more images periodically. Plans are being put in place to renovate the house. Graduate Record Exam and grad school applications. Two jobs and partnering with a local exotic animal rescue group... You get the idea.
On the lighter side I may get to help with iguana research in the Bahamas next Spring. I also got a second rescue iguana who has made a great recovery in the past month.
On my youtube channel I will put up a few videos from my work with the leatherback sea turtles:

The first three arrived Tuesday near midnight, two nested at around 11:30 pm and 2:00 am and the third had to have rope from a lobster pot cut off its neck (should be fine and return later to nest). Getting pictures of them to post will be a challenge partly cause I need to focus on my job observing, measuring, and tagging them but mostly due to the fact I can't use any flash or lighting because it can irritate or disoriented them.a The remaining photos from South Africa will be posted when I can get internet on my comput
